Do Not Drink … Play!

May 31st, 2008 No comments

If you enjoy having a a cocktail ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and keep all money, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take only the cash you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You might have a profit after a inebriated night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long toss at a hot craps game. Keep that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not go well together.

Keeping your money back at the hotel might be a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive actions for dramatic behavior is compulsory. If you wager to win, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to burn your assets nary a concern, then consume all the free beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your befuddled self throws away everything!

Let me to take this one step further. do not drink and then jump on the internet to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my condominium, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, once I drink, it’s certainly adequate to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not wager at the same time. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and crazy, drink.
